Baked Lentils with Bacon

1/2 lb. bacon, diced
1 lb. dried lentils
2 tea. salt
16 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 C. packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 C. molasses
1 tea. onion salt
1/2 C. catsup

Partially cook bacon and drain. Put into Dutch oven with lentils, salt and 4 C. water. Bring to boil, cover, and simmer 30 min., or until lentils are tender but not mushy.

Add remaining ingredients and pour into a prepared 2-qt. casserole. Cover and bake at 250 degrees F for 2 hr., or until most of liquid is absorbed.
