Chocolate Pecan Bars

Crust
1 1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. butter, softened
1/4 C. packed brown sugar

Filling
3 lrg. eggs
3/4 C. corn syrup
3/4 C. sugar
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 3/4 C. semisweet chocolate chunks
1 1/2 C. coarsely chopped pecans

To make crust: Beat flour, butter and brown sugar in a sm. mixing bowl until crumbly. Press into a prepared 13 x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 to 15 min. or until lightly browned.

To make filling: Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla in a med. bowl with a wire whisk. Stir in chunks and nuts. Pour evenly over baked crust. Bake for 25 to 30 min. or until set. Cool in pan on a wire rack.

Makes approximately 3 dozen bars.
