Hamburger-Cream Cheese Casserole
1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tea. salt
1/2 tea. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
1 C. creamed cottage cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 C. sour cream
1/3 C. green onion, sliced
1/4 C. green bell pepper, chopped (optional)
Brown hamburger and onion in butter; stir in salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Remove from heat.
Cook noodles according to directions on pkg.; drain.
Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, green onion and green pepper.
In a 3-qt. casserole spread half the noodles, cover with cheese mixture; top with remaining noodles. Pour hamburger mixture over top. Bake at 250 degrees F for about 30 min.
Makes approximately: 8 to 10 servings
NOTE: This may be frozen.
