Recipe For Cooking Amaretto Brownies

Toaster Oven Cookies :: Blondies and Brownies

Amaretto Brownies

1 1/2 C. sugar
2/3 C. canola oil
3 eggs, beaten
1 C. flour
2/3 C. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 C. Amaretto
1 C. almonds, chopped

Combine all ingredients in a lrg. bowl and mix well. Spread into a prepared 13 x 9 in.-baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 min. Allow to cool before frosting.

Frosting
16 oz. powderedsugar
1/2 C. butter
1/4 C. buttermilk
1/4 C. unsweetened cocoa
2/3 C. nuts, chopped (optional)

Melt butter in a saucepan and add buttermilk and cocoa. Slowly add powderedsugar and continue stirring until smooth.

Frost cooled brownies and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
