Recipe For Cooking Iced Pumpkin Blondies
Toaster Oven Cookies :: Blondies and Brownies
Iced Pumpkin Blondies
2 1/4 C. flour
2 1/2 tea. baking powder
2 tea. ground cinnamon
1/4 tea. salt
1 1/2 cusp packed brown sugar
3/4 C. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
2 lrg. eggs
1 C. LIBBY\S 100% Pure Pumpkin
Maple Icing
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 15 x 10-in. jellyroll pan.
Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in med. bowl. Beat sugar, butter and vanilla extract in lrg. mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in pumpkin. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Spread into prepared pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 min. or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan; spread with Maple Icing. Cut into bars.
Maple Icing
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. softened butter or butter substitute
2 C. sifted powderedsugar
1 to 2 tea. maple flavoring
Orange food color, if desired
Beat cream cheese, butter or margarine and powderedsugar in sm. mixer bowl until smooth. Add maple flavoring and orange food color, if desired.
