Recipe For Cooking Kahlua Mudslide Brownies

Kahlua Mudslide Brownies

2 C. flour
1/2 tea. baking powder
1/2 tea. salt
2/3 C. butter
4 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
3 eggs
1 1/2 C. sugar
4 Tbsp. Kahlúa
2 Tbsp. Irish cream liqueur
1 Tbsp. vodka
3/4 C. coarsely chopped walnuts
Whole coffee beans (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9-in. baking pan.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in sm. bowl.

Melt butter and chocolate in sm. saucepan over low heat; set aside.

Beat eggs and sugar in lrg. bowl until light. Beat in flour mixture, chocolate mixture, Kahlúa, Irish cream and vodka. Fold in walnuts. Pour into prepared baking pan. Bake just until a wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean, about 25 min. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool in pan on wire rack.

Spread with Kahlúa Glaze. Decorate with whole coffee beans, if desired. Cut into squares.

Makes approximately 24 brownies.

Kahlúa Glaze
1 1/4 C. powderedsugar
3 Tbsp. Kahlúa

Beat together sugar and Kahlúa in sm. bowl until smooth.
