Recipe For Cooking Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting1/4 c. dry any-style cocoa (for light flavor) or 1/2 c. (for med. flavor) or 3/4 c. (for dark flavor) 1 (16 oz.) package powderedsugar 6 tbsp. butter or margarine, softened 4 to 5 tbsp. milk or water 1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring In sm. bowl, stir together desired amount of cocoa and powderedsugar. In small mixer bowl, beat butter with 1/2 c. of cocoa mixture; blend well. Add remaining cocoa mixture with milk, beating to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla extract or flavoring.
