Fluffy White FrostingPosted by bettyboop50 at recipegoldmine.com May 9, 2001 1 c. sugar 1/3 c. water 1/4 tea. cream of tartar 2 egg whites 1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring In a saucepan, combine sugar, water and cream of tartar. Cook and stir till bubbly and sugar dissolves. In a sm. mixer bowl, combine eggs and vanilla extract or flavoring. Add sugar mixture very slowly to egg whites, beating constantly with mixer on high speed about 7 min. or till stiff peaks form and tips stand up.
