Sugar Date Balls

2 eggs
1 C. coconut
3/4 C. chopped pecans
1 C. sugar
1 C. dates, chopped
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring

Blend in order given. Bake in prepared 8-in. square baking pan for 30 to 35 min. at 350 degrees F or until top is tan. Dip out by spoonsful as soon as it comes from oven, rolling instantly in bowl of powderedsugar. This may burn your fingers, but the balls are worth it.

Makes about 3 dozen.
