Recipe For Cooking Rum Bars

Toaster Oven Cookies :: Cookies that Use Cake Mix

Rum Bars

1 (18.25 oz.) box yellow butter cake mix
1 egg
1/2 C. (1 stick) butter, melted
1 (16 oz.) box powderedsugar
2 eggs
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tea. rum extract

Mix together cake mix, 1 egg and butter. Pat out onto a 15 1/2 x 11-in. cake pan.

Mix powderedsugar, 2 eggs, cream cheese and rum extract or flavoring. Spread this mixture on top of cake mixture. Bake for 30 to 35 min. at 350 degrees F.

Cut into bars.
