Recipe For Cooking Shoofly Cupcakes

Toaster Oven Cakes :: Cupcakes

Shoofly C.cakes

2 1/2 C. flour
1 1/2 C. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 C. butter
1 tea. baking powder
1 C. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/2 C. boiling water
1 tea. baking soda

Mix flour, light brown sugar, butter and baking powder well. Remove one C. of crumbs and set aside.

To remaining crumbs add dark brown sugar, boiling water and baking soda. Mix well. Fill each C.cake liner 2/3 full. Top each C.cake with a heaping tea.ful of the set-aside crumbs. Bake 20 min. at 350 degrees F.
