Recipe For Cooking Apple Rum Buns

Toaster Oven Yeast Breads :: Dinner Rolls


Apple Rum Buns

1 C. water
1/2 C. butter
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 C. warm water
1 C. strained apple sauce
1/2 C. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
5 C. flour
1 egg

Boil the 1 C. water and butter for 10 min. Cool to lukewarm.

Dissolve yeast in the 1/2 C. warm water.

Combine remaining ingredients like any sweet dough. Punch down.

Shape into buns and bake at 400 degrees F for 15 to 20 min. Glaze.

Glaze
3 Tbsp. rum or 1 Tbsp. rum extract or flavoring and 2 Tbsp. water
Powderedsugar

Mix to make a glaze.
