Recipe For Cooking Kris Kringles

Toaster Oven Cookies :: Holiday Cookies

Kris Kringles

1/2 C. butter or margarine
1/2 C. brown sugar
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 1/2 C. flour
1/8 tea. salt
20 to 25 maraschino cherries
20 to 25 chocolate chips

Cream sugar and butter well. Add vanilla extract or flavoring, flour and salt. Mix well. Stuff cherries with chocolate chips. Wrap each cherry in 1 tea. dough. Bake on unprepared cookie sheet for 12 to 25 min. at 350 degrees F. Cool.

Dip tops of cookies in melted chocolate.
