1 C. margarine
2/3 C. molasses
1/2 C. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 1/2 tea. lemon peel, grated
2 1/2 C. flour
1 1/4 tea. cinnamon
1 tea. allspice
1/2 tea. ginger
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 tea. lemon extract or flavoring
1/2 tea. baking soda
1/2 tea. salt
1/4 tea. baking powder
M&M Candies for decoration

Combine margarine, molasses, brown sugar, egg and lemon peel in lrg. bowl. Beat at med. speed until smooth and creamy.

Sift all dry ingredients together and slowly add to liquid ingredients. Cover, refrigerate for three hr..

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured board and use a round cookie cutter. Place cutouts 2 in. apart on a prepared cookie sheet. Pin. each cookie on the sides.

Position two pretzels at the top of each cookie to form antlers, then create eyes and noses with M&M candies.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 6 to 8 min. Remove from the pan immediately and cool.
